Daniel & Melissa's Engagement

Daniel & Melissa are some of my very good friends.  They are one of the kindest and most beautiful couples I've ever met.  They are the kind of couple that make you believe that true love still exists.  They survived years of long distance dating and Daniel's deployments, and they still look at each other with the eyes of young love.  We began our photo shoot in downtown Apex, NC.

After walking around downtown, we headed over to a park in Cary, NC to relax and take a little ride out on the lake.  What we didn't think about, was how much work those two were going to have to do in their pretty outfits :); however, we had a blast!

Melissa saved all the letters and many of the memoirs from when her and Daniel first dated.  It was pretty special to see how much happiness it brought for them to look through the letters that Daniel scripted to Melissa during his time in Iraq.
